On the other side of the world

On the other side of the world there is a weird world. In this world everyone has to do the right thing.
If someone does something bad the whole world gets punished.One time this girl was was walking
and she threw her rubbish on the ground. The next day there was burning fires everywhere. Lucky I
haven’t done anything bad at all. Today I’m going to this museum with amazing pictures. So when I
got there I ran right in because I knew that they put new pictures up. So I went in and I went to the
myths and legends room, there was a lot of pictures. We were allowed to touch them. I kept on
walking until I saw this most amazing picture. It was a picture of a world being destroyed by
rocks shaped like giants wrecking everything. Then there was a man on a horse with a flag.
It looked so cool. I touched the picture and suddenly I was inside the picture. Someone outside
the picture looked at me and I was moving. She saw me and screamed that I was moving.
“Stop moving, or our picture is going to be thrown into the bin.” The rock man said

But the picture got thrown into the bin. Just than the rock man started destroying everything
and he was also looking for me to kill me. I didn’t notice but he had a brother that helped me
hide. The brother was a nice guy but the older brother wasn’t. They started fighting because the
brother didn’t want me to get hurt and the older brother really wanted to kill me. So I stopped them.
I don’t like when families fight so I said to the older brother that we could all be friends and nothing
would happen bad. He agreed with me. So I lived in the picture and we were all friends. So that was
my legend that I told you.

What I've Been Waiting For

Once I got home I got my key out and unlocked the door. I opened the door and when
I looked up to see my house it was a dark dark world. I didn’t understand why my house
was supposed to be like this. I went to the lounge. What I saw was a disgusting gross
pond with trees beside it. Then I remembered my room so I quickly ran to my room
and my room was this pitch black cave. I started to worry. I ran to the door but my
door was gone. I yelled for help so many times that I realised that I was out in a dark
world and no one could hear me. I walked around just then I heard a roar. I looked behind
me and it was a tiger. I was scared, so scared. He said “Don’t be scared I can help you
with whatever you want” He said

I didn’t talk but the tiger said “Follow me”

So I did follow him. He led me into the cave. I went in. The tiger had a light with him and
gave it to me so that I could turn it on. We walked, the tiger got a little scared so he said
to me always ladies first. I don’t know if he just wanted me to go in front but I do know
tigers can be scared of dark. So I went in front of the tiger and he was really scared.
We stopped. There was two tunnels to go through. I said “How about this. You go
through the left tunnel and I will go through the right tunnel.”

He said “No I am not going alone through that tunnel.”

“Why not?” I asked

“Because I’m not a man or a human I’m a tiger! Can you not see  I am a tiger that is
a scared tiger.” He yelled

“Excuse me what?” I asked

“Why don’t humans ever understand” The tiger whispered

“So you just wasted ten minutes yelling at me!” I yelled

“I’ll go myself and don’t even bother to follow me” I said

So I went to see what was all the way back in the cave. I got there and there was
a colourful park. “I had to come here for this!” I yelled

But I played on the playground for 2 hours. I see this button and press it. Then the world
goes back to normal. THE END

Information Report About St.Bernadettes

Walt:Write a information report about our school.

In our class we have been learning how to write a information report about our school.We read a information report about firefighters.But this one is about St. Bernadettes School.

The real name of our school is called “St.Bernadettes School”.St.Bernadettes school is a catholic school.

Breakfast Club

In our school we have breakfast club.Breakfast club is only in the mornings.Sometimes it is not every morning.How we know that there is breakfast club is because there is always a cardboard sign outside next to the classroom saying “Breakfast is Ready!Come on in!”.So we can go to breakfast club and we don’t need to be signed in we just can go in.But only on the days that breakfast club is on.These mornings are:Tuesdays and Thursdays.The helpers are Sister Monika and one of the students mum.In breakfast club there is:Raw Nuts,Normal Nuts,Muesli Bars,Toast and Weetbix to eat.For drinks there is :Water or Milk.

Cultural Group

For cultural group we get asked if we want to join.So there is one cultural group where they don’t need that much people.The other group is where there is a lot of people that get to do it.So right now for cultural group they are doing Kapa Haka.For cultural group also Sister Monika teaches the group with a lot of people and the senior girls from 6 teach the other cultural group.

Choir

Choir is in room 2.Choir is where we practice how to sing and we also practice singing new songs.I use to be in choir but i quit because we didn’t get time to eat all our lunch and we also didn’t have time to play.So that is why i quit choir and also choir was really cool but there was no time to spend time with my friends.

Playgrounds/Classrooms

In our school we have 3 playgrounds and 6 classrooms.So one of our playgrounds is the junior playground.The junior playground is very colourful but no seniors aloud on the junior playground.The second playground is the senior.On the senior playground there is a sign that says “No Trespassing”.The third playground is the adventure playground.The adventure playground is for everyone to play on.

Teachers/Principals/Children/Staff

In the school there is 7 teachers and 15 staff and 7 other teachers.We have one principal and than we have 132 children in the school.So our principal is Mr. Norman.In my class we have 25 people in my class and 25 people in room 5, than 15 in room 2, 14 in room 1, 23 in room 8 and than 29 in room 6.Teachers names are:Mrs Holland, Miss Lee, Mrs Lee, Mrs Wilton, Mrs Bergin, Miss Mitchell and Mrs Saderly.

This school is a really good school for other people to come to this school.

How to plant a seed

First you need to grab your gardening pot.

Put your glove on one hand.

Grab some dirt from the bag

Now with your dirt put it into the gardening pot.

Now with your seed make a little hole into the dirt then put your seed in the
little hole
you made.

After that you water your seed then you leave it in the sunlight.

And now you are done but remember to  always water your plant.

My Digital Footprint

In class we have been learning about Digital Footprints.A Digital Footprint means when you post something to the internet you are leaving footprints behind,even when you download a app you are leaving footprints behind.When you are always on internet then your footprints make one big footprint and it gets bigger every time you go on the internet or also it can get bigger when you go online.

Creating Colours in Maori

We learnt how to say Maori colours and we sang the song Ma is white to help us remember the colours in Maori.
