Shared Writing

In class we were put in groups of 3. This was for our writing task. I had four people in my group because there was an extra person. We had to write a story all together on a shared slideshow and then what we had to do next was to make it a picture book. I worked with Tini, Tyler and Liam. We used the storybook topics. Our topic was about a villain escaping a dragons lair.       Here is my DLO:

My Powtoon

In class we have been using powtoon. We are just getting used to using it because for some people in the class they have just started using powtoon. Powtoon is not that hard to use. But to post it onto our blogs we have to screen castify it because you can't download the video. We had a choice to do it about all the Cerr Values or just one Cerr Value. I chose to do all the Cerr values. It was hard at first but when you use it a lot it gets easier.

Maori Language Week

In class we had a task. It was to complete 3-4 tasks of some of this te reo maori work. I haven't finished my slideshow yet but I will be adding to it and I will be completing my tasks. We don't have to finish all of the task but we do have to finish 4 tasks and we can complete more of those tasks if we have time.

My Infographic

In class lately we have been making infographics about our reading passages. This is a group task that all groups have to do. The passage that my group got this week was How do waterspouts form? We get different passages a week. We looked at an example of a inforgraphic and it gave me a good idea. I don't have that much pictures and I only wrote two of the stages to forming a waterspout because maybe you could guess what happens next.

I enjoyed making the pictures. I found it hard to think of what piece of information I should put in.

The Machine

In class for our reading task we are doing our group task independently. We do it on our own but comment on each others blogs once we have put it onto our blog. This week we had to do a story map. I did my story map on a mindmup. This is what we have been doing for this week in our reading sessions. I forgot to put the solution. It was that what Billy wanted to invent was already invented.

What Causes Rainbows?

This post is about our shared slideshow task. Our passage was about What causes a Rainbow? I used canva for this. I commented on three peoples work but I forgot what it was. My feedback was to change the colour of the wrods and to explain a bit more of how a rainbow is formed.
