In class we have been doing some intergrated learning. For intergrated learning we have been drawing some things that are special to us. Taonga means something that is very precious and very special to you. We got to choose if we wanted to draw on paper or do it digitally. I wanted to do it by hand.
The yellow heart is my friends. The cross is church. The orange thing is a blanket that I've had since I was a baby. The picture is me and my family. The flag is my culture. Those are the things that are the most special things to me.
Here is my picture:
I was a student at St Bernadette’s Primary School. This is a place where I shared my learning with you. Please note… some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Kia ora Talia, I'm Amelia from Yaldhurst Model School.
ReplyDeleteI liked the way you put pictures of the things that are special to you. Obviously taonga means something special to you.
This reminded me of animals because animals are very special to me, also my friends are special to me.
To improve, you could put it on a slide or maybe just put more colour to make it interesting. Also a more interesting title would make it better.
Did you have fun doing this?
Bye Talia, keep up the terrific work!
