My Digital Footprint

In class we have been learning about Digital Footprints.A Digital Footprint means when you post something to the internet you are leaving footprints behind,even when you download a app you are leaving footprints behind.When you are always on internet then your footprints make one big footprint and it gets bigger every time you go on the internet or also it can get bigger when you go online.

Creating Colours in Maori

We learnt how to say Maori colours and we sang the song Ma is white to help us remember the colours in Maori.

Our task was to create a Google Drawing showing how many colours we can remember in Maori and also to show the different colours in Maori.

Coding 101

Last week we went onto a new site called Code.org.On Code.org there is a video that you click on so that the person that was on the video will tell you how to play a code game that is fun to play.Coding means that you're connecting a block,and under the block is like a code for you so that your character in the game can move and you can go to the next level of the game.For the game there is sentence on a block that you connect.

This is the first challenge that i did first.It was really easy.

The challenge i finished it was level 7

This is the level that was really hard so i went back to level 7.This was level 10.

This is the level i got up to today.I think code.org is cool and fun.

Respect

WALT show respect in different situations.
   We have been learning about respect.Every Monday we go to the hall and we learn about the CERR Values of our school.Every term we learn about one CERR Value and we make a slideshow about the CERR Value that we have.Our school has 4 Values and Respect is the final one.We add a slideshow every once a week.

Because they can fly,

Because their nest is high up in the sky.

Because their smaller,

Because they are smaller but others are taller.

Because they are blue and brown,

Because they never fall to the ground.

Because their eyes are blue,

Because they never catch a flue.

Because they are awake in the light,

Because their never awake at night.

Because they have wings,

Because they always sing.
